What is the Customs Charge?
Customs charges are the fees that a country charges for the importation of goods often incurred with the shipping of goods or services that have been purchased from foreign countries. Shipments of all types must comply with applicable regulations by country for the package to be cleared for entry and delivery. Typically the Customs fee, much like a tariff, is charged when the shipment is large enough that it may be viewed as a commercial transaction.
For example, if we ships a package between the United States and Canada, a customs fee may be assessed on the amount of the goods that are part of the shipment.
